Sample — Monitoring & Evaluation Plan

Service is Everywhere in DC monitoring and evaluation plan

A Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plan is a guide that helps you check how well your exhibit is doing. Think of it as a way to keep track of what you want to achieve and see if you're on the right path. This plan includes setting goals, figuring out what to measure, and deciding how to gather information. By having a clear plan, you can see if your exhibit is achieving it's goals and make changes if needed for improvement.

Creating an M&E plan is important because it helps you understand the impact of exhibit. It shows whether you're meeting your goals and helps you learn from any mistakes. This way, you can make your exhibit better and show others, like supporters or funders, that what you're doing is effective. Overall, it helps you make smart decisions to reach your goals and help your audience in the best way possible.

This sample M&E Framework was created for the Service is Everywhere in DC, community exhibition of service in partnership with YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, Rotary Club of DC and DC Public Library.
