Campus and Community Logo Guidelines

When utilizing the National Museum and Center for Service — Community and Campus logos for exhibitions, please adhere to the following guidelines to ensure consistent and respectful representation:

  1. Purpose and context: The logos are to be used solely for exhibitions that align with the museum's mission of honoring and inspiring service. Appropriate contexts include exhibitions and related events, related promotional materials and official museum communications.

  2. Integrity and proportion: Maintain the integrity of the logos by using them in their original form. Do not alter, distort, or modify the colors, proportions, or design elements. Ensure the logos are always displayed clearly and legibly.

  3. Placement: Position the logos in a way that gives them prominence without overshadowing other elements. Allow for adequate spacing around the logos to avoid visual clutter.

  4. Color and background: Use the logos on backgrounds that provide sufficient contrast.

  5. Size: Ensure the logos are scaled proportionally. They should be large enough to be easily read but not so large that they dominate the exhibition materials.

  6. Exhibition values: Exhibitions displaying NMCFS logos must promote positive community collaboration and inclusivity. They should highlight the values of unity and respect, and must not include content that is discriminatory, hateful, or divisive.

By following these guidelines, you help maintain the integrity and recognition of the National Museum and Center for Service's brand in all exhibitions and communications.
