Since she was a young girl, Connie Yeagle grew up with the belief that you should find your passion and live it out, and hers was taking care of people in need. When she and her husband learned about the opportunity to sponsor a child overseas, they began their global journey. Connie and Gary have six children of their own and have now sponsored many disadvantaged children in developing countries. At age 70, when they began withdrawing money from their retirement account, they decided it was money they never depended on and would be of better use to support safe drinking water projects in Rwanda. Connie and Gary truly exemplify the American generosity of spirit.
“Pick what’s closest to your heart, and then you do it locally, you do it nationally, and you do it globally,” — Connie Yeagle
